Paulo Rocha
Paul Jays (Paulo Rocha) has been producing electronic music since 1993. After several projects and unreleased tracks, in 1994 he started a project called O.L.N. with João Correia. "Places of Pleasure" immediately caught the attention of portuguese label Kaos Records that later signed it worldwide to Tribal America/UK as O.L.N. "Oporto Deep Cuts" (1995). Paulo started releasing his tracks on Kaos including his first album of original tracks "Paul Jays @ Disco.necting", a deep house cd with some lounge and drum'n'bass tracks. The first solo 12" release was "Desire" and later "Highly Supersticious", "Don't Stop", being "Lava Love" (2001) the last original 12" on Kaos. He remixed "Body", produced by the well known duo Funky Green Dogs and his own releases were also remixed by artists like Dino & Terry, Martin Solveig and Claude Monnet...
Later, he starts his own Label with his friend Carlos Manaça. And they created Magna Recordings, a Prog House/Tribal label and the newest Magnetica for more deeper and musical tracks. Paulo focuses on producing for his own labels, remixing tracks like Pete "Tha Zouk" & Bruno Marciano's "The First Tribal Feelings", "Kashmira" and Manaça, Chus and Ceballos- "The Strong Rythm", also signed for several compilations and labels around the world...
